Fused Glass Suncatcher, run on various dates
Suitable for all abilities, we will begin with a brief description of what glass fusing is, the types of glass in the studio, the tools you will be using and design options available to you.
After the demonstration of how to safely cut the glass, you will then start to make your own sun catcher from the large selection of coloured glass, stringers, confetti, frit and millefiore.
You will create one or two sun catchers for the home or garden. Your work will be fired in the kiln overnight, ready for collection or be posted to you.
The course runs for 2 hours from 10am to 12.00 midday
About the Course
Teresa will begin with a brief description of what glass fusing is, the types of glass in the studio, the tools you will be using and design options available to you. After the demonstration of how to safely cut the glass you will start to make your own fused glass pieces from the large selection of colored glass, stringers, confetti, frit and millefiore. You will create one or tw sun catchers, there will be lots of examples, and the session allows for lots of creativity.
Once you've finished your work, it'll be fired in a kiln for you. Your teacher Teresa will let you know when your work is ready to collect, or you can arrange to have it posted to you at additional cost
